2. Using Wisenford

You may use Wisenford only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

use Wisenford for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;

Where Wisenford describes learning outcomes, proficiency levels, assessments, or progression requirements, these descriptions are intended to explain the educational objectives and standards of the relevant program.

They should not be interpreted as guarantees of a particular personal result.

6. Assessments and Progression

Wisenford may use assessments to establish a learner’s current level, measure progress, provide feedback, or determine progression.

Assessment methods may include, depending on the program:

placement assessments;
listening assessments;
reading assessments;
writing assignments;
speaking evaluations;
presentations;
practical communication tasks;
portfolios;
examinations; and
other skills-based assessments.

Progression or certification may depend on demonstrated achievement against the applicable requirements.

Completing lessons, attending classes, or spending a particular amount of time studying does not necessarily mean that a learner has demonstrated a particular level of capability.

7. Certificates and Credentials

Where Wisenford issues a certificate or credential, the certificate represents only the achievement specifically described on that credential.

A Wisenford certificate:

is not automatically a university degree;
is not automatically an externally accredited qualification;
does not guarantee employment or professional advancement; and
should not be represented as an external qualification unless the relevant external recognition actually exists.

Where a program is associated with an external examination, awarding organization, university, or other recognized body, the relevant organization and nature of the recognition will be identified separately.

Wisenford will not knowingly represent an internal credential as an externally recognized qualification.

8. Teachers and Faculty

Wisenford may provide access to teachers, instructors, academic staff, or other educational professionals.

Teacher availability, scheduling, assignment, and teaching arrangements may vary between programs.

Wisenford aims to maintain appropriate academic and professional standards for its faculty. However, the availability of a particular teacher is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed as part of a specific service.

Learners are expected to communicate respectfully with teachers and other members of the Wisenford community.

9. Artificial Intelligence and Technology

Wisenford may use artificial intelligence and other technology to support learning.

AI-supported features may include:

conversation practice;
writing suggestions;
pronunciation practice;
vocabulary exercises;
personalized practice;
simulations;
recommendations; and
progress analysis.

AI is intended to support the educational experience rather than replace the role of human teaching and academic judgment.

AI-generated feedback may contain errors. Learners should use appropriate judgment and, where relevant, seek human teacher or professional guidance.

You should not rely on AI-generated information as the sole basis for important academic, professional, legal, medical, financial, or other consequential decisions.

10. Educational Content

Wisenford owns or licenses the educational materials made available through its services unless otherwise stated.

This may include:

lessons;
written materials;
videos;
audio;
exercises;
assessments;
illustrations;
curriculum materials;
teacher-created resources;
software;
interface designs;
trademarks and logos; and
other educational or platform content.

Your access to Wisenford does not transfer ownership of these materials to you.

Unless we expressly permit otherwise, you may use Wisenford materials for your own personal educational purposes only.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit, or create derivative educational products from Wisenford materials without our prior written permission.

11. Learner Content

Some Wisenford services may allow you to submit content, including:

written assignments;
recordings;
presentations;
questions;
comments;
discussion contributions;
profile information; and
other learning-related material.

You retain ownership of content that you own and submit to Wisenford, subject to the rights reasonably necessary for us to provide the service.

By submitting content, you grant Wisenford a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content where reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, assess, improve, secure, or administer the relevant educational service.

We will handle personal information and learner content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You should not submit confidential information belonging to another person or organization unless you are authorized to do so.

12. Community and Communication

Where Wisenford provides community features, learners are expected to contribute constructively and respectfully.

You must not use community or communication features to:

harass, threaten, or intimidate others;
discriminate against or target another person;
publish unlawful or seriously harmful material;
distribute spam or unsolicited commercial material;
impersonate another person;

However, online services cannot be guaranteed to operate continuously or without interruption.

“Wisenford” and associated logos and marks may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, accreditation, employment, or affiliation without our written permission.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of Wisenford intellectual property.

16. Privacy

Wisenford collects and processes personal information in connection with operating its services.

how long information may be retained; and
the rights available to individuals under applicable data protection law.

17. No Current Paid Services

At the Phase I launch of Wisenford, the website does not process payments for paid educational programs or subscriptions.

Accordingly:

no subscription payment is currently required to use the relevant Phase I website experience;
no recurring billing is currently operated through the website;
no paid course purchase is currently made through the website; and
the Wisenford Refund & Cancellation Policy currently explains the position applicable to this no-payment phase.

If Wisenford introduces paid services, the applicable pricing, payment, cancellation, and refund terms will be published before or at the point where payment is requested.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Wisenford develops.

When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the beginning of this page.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of Wisenford after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to an account where reasonably necessary, including where:

these Terms have been materially breached;
the account is used for unlawful or abusive activity;
the security of Wisenford or other users is threatened;
continued access creates a material risk to the learning community; or
we are legally required to do so.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.

Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, confidentiality, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions.

Wisenford provides educational services and information for learning and development purposes.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate, useful, and high-quality educational content. However, we do not guarantee that every item of content will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every learner.

Nothing on Wisenford should be interpreted as professional legal, medical, financial, immigration, or other regulated professional advice.

Where specialist professional advice is required, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wisenford will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer, statutory, or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Any specific limitation of liability applicable to paid services may be set out in the applicable purchase terms or agreement.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful use of Wisenford, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

This provision does not apply to the extent that a claim results from Wisenford’s own unlawful conduct or other circumstances for which liability cannot legally be transferred to you.
